Quick answers.
Is this really free?
Yes. During our launch phase, both drivers and mechanics use the platform at no cost. We want real mechanics doing real jobs before we introduce any paid tiers.
When will the Pro plan launch?
Once we've proven the platform works — real dispatches, real mechanics, real drivers. We'll be transparent about timing. Mechanics who join now will get advance notice and early-adopter access.
Is this a towing service?
No. Mechanix Onsite connects you with mobile mechanics who perform repairs on-site. We are not a tow dispatch platform.
How do drivers pay for service?
Drivers and mechanics arrange payment directly. Mechanix Onsite handles dispatch and connection — not the financial transaction between you and the mechanic.
Can mechanics decline jobs?
Yes. Mechanics can pass on any request without penalty. If a mechanic accepts and needs to cancel, drivers are notified immediately.
What vehicles are supported?
Mechanix Onsite is built for commercial vehicles — semis, box trucks, trailers, vans, pickups, and heavy equipment. It is not optimized for passenger car roadside assistance.
